MAED is an energy demand modelling tool developed by the IAEA for analysing energy demand at national level. Each Starter Data Kit provides country-specific socio-economic input data for building zero-order MAED models, covering historic data (2010–2023) and future projections to 2050. Countries marked ⚡ also include UN Energy Balance pivots.
Each workbook contains a Cover Page, a Socio-Economic sheet with live formulas, and — for ⚡ countries — UN Energy Balance pivots plus population and GDP projections to 2050.
